It was the end of summer, August to be exact, of 1983 in Buffalo, NY when a star was born. Although most may not be aware, this date marks the day a splendid musician was created. Local artist born to the name Thomas E. Baines transitioned into the artist known as Nov. This transition took years to shape. Not only does he play instruments, writes and produces his own music he also has the education backing him. He attributes his love for music to his parents Mr. and Mrs. Baines of Buffalo, NY who played the likes of Bob Marley, Anita Baker, Frankie Beverly and Maze along with a slue of musicians, Miles Davis, Curtis Mayfield and Kenny G to name a few. Nov’s love for music was predestined.

He’s currently partnered with local lyricist and artist Edreys Wajed, best known as Billy Drease Williams. In a recent interview with Billy Drease Williams, we learned he’d be transitioning from the lime light of stage performances and travel to spend more time with his family, while working more behind the scenes with music and film production. The duo have collaborated on a number of projects most of which can be viewed on Luongo’s web page, Struck Down Entertainment.
