Extended Master Hands

Local artist of Buffalo, NY Amon-Ra has been hand crafting jewelry and artwork for over 40 years. Amon-Ra took on the name as apart of his heritage studying ancient Kemet. His art form reflects the knowledge and growth learned from studying and paying tribute to his ancestors. Amon-Ra also teaches and lectures locally, bringing awareness to both youth and adults about their history. He tells stories through his artwork; working with his hands to create timeless pieces is all he knows. Back in April of 2012, Rabiyyah Khan an Independent Journalist of Full Sail University wrote a short article with images showcasing his craft. He’s shown here displaying this talent.

Master Hands

Well-known local artist of Buffalo, NY by the name of Amon-Ra has handcrafted jewelry for over 35 years. Known for his afro-centric inspired jewelry he also creates wood pieces and paintings. He’s locally known as the Metal smith Master craftsman, Amon-Ra has a community base of customers who place orders to have a piece of his custom made jewelry. The artisan is here shown making from scratch with just a few essential tools a brass bangle.
